Lunar & Geomagnetic Data
What do the lunar phases and geomagnetic levels have to do with EVP and paranormal phenomenon? Well, according to many in the business- a lot. EVP's can be captured most anywhere spirit activity is present, during anytime of the year and under most conditions. However, if you want to increase your chances of capturing stronger EVP's or other paranormal phenomena when lunar, solar and climatic conditions are at peak levels, it's a good idea to get a basic understanding of how these can/may affect your recording/investigating results and land you with some amazing results. Studies have shown that EVP occurrence and clarity seem to be more prevalent when geomagnetic energy is high and when there is a full or new moon present (preferably a new moon). These EVP occurrences can stay active up to three days after the full or new moon. When solar flares are high, these too can contribute by the activity of the positive charged particles coming in contact with the earth. Outdoor weather conditions can be contributing factors as to how well your EVP's pick up or are transmitted. Of course, (hypothetically speaking) your results can also be affected by how close the spirit energy is to you when the EVP is made and how well your recording techniques are, but weather can be a major contributing element during your investigating session. For instance, during a thunderstorm the geomagnetic energy is high; however, we wouldn't advise standing outside and taking a chance on getting electrocuted- this of course would be a little dangerous. It might be a good time to try an indoor session though, especially if you are in a location of suspected activity. The ideal time to do perform EVP's (or spirit photography) would be right before a thunderstorm or right after.  Lunar Phases It has been theorized that lunar cycles/phases of the moon may have some sort of direct impact on paranormal events and activity. The idea is typically associated to the new moon and the full moon. Though we haven't yet seen a direct correlation between the two, our group will consistently monitor this for all investigations to see if such theory does in fact exist. |
